The Series stands out with its remarkable computing prowess, invigorated Edge AI acceleration, and substantial memory capacity, featuring dual channel DDR5-5600MHz up to 96GB. The series offers a comprehensive array of industrial I/Os, excellent RF connectivity supporting 5G/4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E and BT 5.3, real-time TSN/TCC enablement and flexible expansion capabilities particularly in iEPF-9030S Series.
Operation is secured within a wide temperature range of -40°C~75°C (iEPF-9030S Series), with robust power design and high shock/vibration resistance, ensuring resilience in harsh industrial environments.

Amplified Performance with Edge AI Upgrades
Optimized by the Intel® Core™ 14th Gen Processors (Raptor Lake-S Refresh) and the R680E/H610 chipsets, the iEPF-9030S Series Expandable Edge AIoT Platform includes models - iEPF-9030S-EW4 and iEPF-9032S-EW4 whereas the iEP-9030E Series Compact Edge AIoT Platform includes models - iEP-9030E and iEP-9032E. The Series features a notable performance hybrid architecture supporting up to 24 cores and 32 threads.
The Series empowers strong multitasking capabilities for edge AI solutions with up to 1.05x faster single-thread performance, 1.18x faster multithread performance, and 1.05x faster in CPU plus GPU image classification inference performance compared to previous generation processors.
The Series supports two DDR5 memory modules, allowing a maximum of 96GB (with ECC memory supported by R680E and selected CPU) for AI computing boost. Moreover, the iEPF-9030S Series is designed to provide flexibility in mechanical, thermal, and power aspects with support for 275 x 124 x 60mm (L x H x D) maximum, and up to 600W graphics card, the Expandable Edge AIoT Platform greatly amplifies edge AI capabilities.
Outstanding I/O Connectivity with TSN/TCC Real-time Computing
The iEPF-9030S Series Expandable Edge AIoT Platform is crafted with versatile expansion slots, while the iEP-9030E Series Compact Edge AIoT Platform adopts a space-saving, fan-less design suitable for diverse industrial applications. Both Series offer extensive front-facing I/Os connectivity for user convenience, including up to five Intel® 2.5 Gigabit LANs, with two supporting PoE and one supporting vPro, and TSN/ Intel® TCC capability for real-time enablement.
They come equipped with abundant I/Os, including up to six USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 ports (iEPF-9030S-EW4/iEP-9030E) or 4 x USB 3.2 Gen2x1, 2 x USB 2.0 Gen2x1 (iEPF-9032S-EW4/iEP-9032E), one internal USB 2.0 connector with lock function, six COM ports, and eight DIs/eight DOs. Visual excellence is assured with one DisplayPort 1.4a, one HDMI 2.0b, and one VGA, featuring Intel® UHD Graphics 770 with a maximum resolution of up to 4096x2160.
Additionally, various storage options are available, including four SATA3 ports (supporting RAID 0/1/5/10) with four 2.5-inch SSD/HDD tray, one M.2 with Gen 4x4 for NVMe SSD (only for iEPF-9030S-EW4/iEP-9030E), one M.2 with Gen 3x4 for NVMe SSD, and one optional C-Fast type II socket shared with SATA3.
Expandability, RF Connectivity for Intelligent Streamlined Workload
The iEPF-9030S/iEP-9030E Series also integrates additional sockets for RF modules, supporting such as 4G LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and BT 5.3. Both Series include one M.2 Key B1 (2280/3042/3052), one M.2 Key B2 (3042/3052) for 4G LTE/5G, and one M.2 Key E (2230) for Wi-Fi/BT module. The platform features eight SMA connectors for R&F Antenna and two Nano SIM card slots. In the iEPF-9030S Series, specifically, flexible expansion slots accommodate various expansion cards to meet industrial use cases.
The iEPF-9030S-EW4 includes one PCIe x16 (Gen 5) or two PCIe x8 (Gen 5), and two PCIe x4 (Gen 4), while the iEPF-9032S-EW4 includes one PCIe x16 (Gen 5) or two PCIe x8 (Gen 5) for graphics cards, frame grabber cards, motion cards, and IO cards. The iEPF-9030S/iEP-9030E Series facilitates upgrades in workload consolidation capability, replacing dedicated edge compute devices for tasks like HMI, PLC, motion and vision control, enhancing efficiency and delivering upgraded results for industrial use cases.
Optimized Space Utilization with Ruggedness for Industrial Uses
The iEP-9030E Series boasts a compact size of 202 x 244 x 108.7mm (W x D x H), while the iEPF-9030S Series, measuring 202 x 290 x 209.3mm (W x D x H), is designed to optimize space utilization. Equipped with a robust power design and durability tailored for industrial settings, both models support a wide power input range of 9V to 36V VDC, featuring ignition control and a remote power on/off switch. In ensuring stability in challenging conditions, they provide 80V surge protection, along with safeguards like OVP, UVP, OCP, and reverse protection.
Moreover, they operate reliably across a broad temperature range – the iEPF-9030S Series from -40°C to 75°C (35W) and the iEP-9030E Series from -40°C to 70°C (35W). They exhibit high shock and vibration resistance, adhere to EMC EN61000-6-4/-2 standards, are CE and FCC Class A certified, and feature TPM 2.0 onboard for extended security, ensuring continuous functionality in harsh environments.
